Collage & Assemblage Story Boxes

Wednesday 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
Create 'story boxes' from collage and assemblage materials; making a keepsake based around a quote or personally significant theme. Participants will create a treasure box inspired by their own interests, memories or experiences using various methods such as textured paint, assemblage and collage. Please bring along any empty box you might like to use, and any ‘treasures’ you may want to include; such as ; found objects and tokens that have a personal significance (examples; broken jewelry, junk drawer items, buttons, keys etc) found items like shells and feathers, mini photographs, souvenirs like ticket stubs or keychains, and trinkets like pins or fun toys. Lots of found items and boxes will be available for you to use as well!
