January 20th – March 19th: Pastel Extractions By Joan Quinlivan
In this new series of work, the artist explores the pure natural beauty of the Adirondacks. This style utilizes the rich color pigments of pastel to capture the immediacy of light in the natural landscape. Ultimately, through her investigation of nature, the audience will see the wonderful places and moments that the artist is sharing with us.

January 20th – March 19th: Changing Places
This series of monoprints by artist Kristine Corso Tolmie reflect an interest in recording the intangible quality of observations and experiences with natural schemata. They are based on an investigation of the subtle shifts in color, value and form that are the essence of a particular place as it evolves over time. As unique prints, these works serve as frames of reference that document shifting perceptions and impressions of the world.

March 31 – May 1st: Student Art Exhibit
You’ll be surprised by this wonderful showcase of art work in various media by talented students from area schools in the central Adirondacks.

This is our annual exhibit of artwork by members of the Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts, it’s a great time to become a member and enter your work in the exhibit.
Submission deadline: April 25th. Limit two entries per member.

May 8th – June 12th: Beneath the Surface Film by Vincent Farina
Recent paintings by Vincent Farina are inspired by his obsession with the sport of fishing and the beauty he finds in the game fish of New York.
