Winter Shorts! 10 Minute Play Festival
Ever want to perform but don’t have the time? Don’t want to travel the long distances to rehearsal? Or are you worried about memorizing lines? Winter Shorts! is the perfect solution. Actors old and young, experienced and beginner, are invited to a one-week intensive acting experience in your own town. Audition on Sunday, rehearse Monday – Thursday and perform on Friday night.
Week Long Workshop Opportunities: Newcomb: February 6th – 11th with Newcomb Central School Indian Lake / Blue Mountain Lake: February 13th – 18th with The Indian Lake Theater Long Lake: February 20th – 25th with the Town of Long Lake Wacky Winter Week Tupper Lake: March 21st – March 25th with the Tupper Lake Arts Council Old Forge: March 27th – April 1st with The Arts Center-Old Forge North Creek: April 3rd – April 8th at Tannery Pond with the Our Town Theatre Group.

Winter Shorts! is a short-short play festival that will be performed in 6 different communities throughout the Adirondacks this winter. Winter Shorts! will feature 10 minute plays by such playwrights as Anton Chekov, David Mamet, Wendy Wasserstein, Tony Kushner, Eugene O’Neil, Arthur Miller, Tennessee Williams, and many more…
