The Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts' regional holiday production of Cinderella: The Enchanted Edition opened November 25th to a sold out crowd at the Indian Lake Theater! Whiteface Lodge Raffle
The Arts Center is raffling off the chance to win a one-week stay at the Whiteface Lodge in Lake Placid! The winner will enjoy a week stay at the Whiteface lodge from August 3-10, 2012 in a deluxe 1-bedroom suite with a beautiful view of Whiteface Mountain. Room has a separate bedroom with king bed and a queen size pullout sofa in the living room. Full kitchen, 1.5 bath with Jacuzzi. All amenities are included. Valued at $4666.20.

Casting Call for On Golden Pond
The Adirondack Lakes Center for the Arts will be hosting an open casting call for the AC’s production of the classic play On Golden Pond by Ernest Thompson.
Roles include Norman, an older man 60s – 80s, Ethel, an older woman in her 60s – 80s, Charlie, a man in his 40s, Chelsea, a woman in her 40s, and Billy Ray, a teenage boy.
This production will be directed by Mary Frasier as part of the Arts Center’s Theater Experience Program. Rehearsals for On Golden Pond will start on January 25th. Performances will run in a variety of venues in the Adirondacks from March 1st through March 3rd and March 8th through March 10th.

“Expressions Inside” By artists from the Sunmount and Dayhab in Tupper Lake and Long Lake. Selected artwork collected from our summer program includes various mediums, such as printmaking, painting and drawing from our local Sunmount and Dayhab facility artists.
“Dreamscapes” Paintings By Darcy Scott – Water media paintings by Scott will have you feeling like you are stepping into another world, one of surrealistic qualities. Wooden stools symbolize humans and how they interact with nature.
“This Beautiful World” Photographs by Robert Radin – Photographs collected from around the world. The artist vision is “To Show the World the World” with an emphasis on the journey of life.
